This sweet little girl turned 1 year old on Sunday. She is so sweet and has so much personality. It was a lot of fun to take pictures of her. Addison has a lot of health problems and doesn't sleep much. So, while a friend of mine was watching Addison so her mom could get some much needed sleep I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to snap a few pictures of this sweet girl. We had been trying to coordinate a time to take her pictures but it was a lot more fun to surprise her mom! I hope you love them as much as I do Monique!

I took my kids pictures a few weeks ago and haven't had a chance to edit them. I finally edited a few and thought I would post what I have done so far. I was really happy with how they came out. Sometimes the hardest kids to photograph are your own.

Mini Family Session Special

I did it again. I started another special and forgot to mention iy on my blog. The special is a mini family session for $50. It includes pictures of the Mom, Dad, and kids or just of the kids. There will be no small groupings. The price includes up to 4 children. Any additional will be $5 each. Also, if you refer a friend and they have a photo session I will give you back $10!

You would never know it but it was down pouring on us during this session and it got very dark. Definitely not perfect photo conditions but it worked! This may have also been my last session at this building. It is being burned down on December 10th. I am so sad.

school picture's special

I mentioned my special on facebook but failed to mention it on my blog. So I thought I would quickly mention it on here. I am running a special for school pictures from now until the 29th of October ( I have extended the date because it is so popular). You will get a 10-15 minute session per child. You will receive 2-3 pictures per child that has been edited a few different ways. You will receive the pictures on a disc that you are free to print wherever you choose. The cost is $15 for the first child and then each additional child from the same family will be $10.

I loved how Rylie wasn't afraid of the camera at all and her little brother Owen had so much personality. He made so many different expressions with his face it was crackin' me up. They were really fun kids to photograph.

I had a few minutes the other day and decided to hurry and get some pictures taken of my kids. It was a bad day to try because Jeremy was the only one that wanted to do it. Jeremy was just excited to wear his new clothes. The only problem was I didn't let him wear the shirt he wanted. So we have to go do a few more one of these days.

I couldn't decide which picture I like best. Which one do you like?

I thought I would add a few family pictures in there while I had them in the picture taking mode and they were all dressed for the occasion.

After taking pregnancy pictures of this family it was fun to go back and see the new baby. She was only 5 days old when I got to photograph her. I could not believe how awake and alert she was.

It was so fun to take pictures of Briena. She was so easy to work with. I love the confidence she displayed in getting her picture taken in the middle of Portland. It was a bright sunny day and there were so many people out and about. It didn't bother Briena even a little bit. You don't meet many people that have Briena's beauty, her self confidence, her down to earth personality, and her humble attitude. What an amazing girl!

Ashli's bridals

I had a lot of fun with Ashli while we did her bridal pictures. The weather was definitely not our friend this day it was raining freezing rain, the wind was blowing and it was bitter cold. Ashli was only in town for a couple of days over Thanksgiving and so we had no option of rescheduling so we made the best of it. I am so happy with they way the pictures turned out. I had so much fun taking pictures of this family. They have such a great energy about them. I had a hard time picking just a few pictures so I picked a little more then a few. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. The pictures with the Land Rover were actually taken out front of their house. It was fun to try and take the picture with no signs in the background and with as few houses as possible.

Anytime I asked an older sibling to do something a younger one would want to do the same thing. It was really cute how much they looked up to their older brother and sister.

Lily's senior pictures

So what do you think about senior pictures in the rain? We decided it was quite fitting for where we live. So we did some in the rain and then rescheduled and did some in the sun. Lily was a good sport putting up with the rain and sitting on the wet ground. I had a really good time taking pictures of such a beautiful girl!

I got to do a very different photo shoot today and it was so much fun. My friends daughter rides horses and is very good at it if I might add. I am so glad I was asked to take pictures of Devon with Harvey. It was really neat that my kids were able to come along and pet the horse and see Devon compete in the horse show. Anyway, I hope you like the pictures as much as I do.

I love that the horse is smiling in one picture and in another his tongue is hanging out. Devon was telling me that when they got Harvey he wouldn't let anyone touch him, apparently he had been abused. It is pretty amazing what they have done for this horse. I was so impressed with how well Devon was able to control such a big animal.

Mother's Day pictures

It was such a nice day on Mother's Day. One of the things I wanted to do was take pictures. I know, shocking! Ryan was not cooperating whatsoever, so he wasn't in many of the pictures. The next morning Ryan woke up and he had been sleeping in throw up, so that explained him not wanting to cooperate much. Anyway, I had a lot of fun.

Poor Jeremy, his eyes are soooo sensitive to the sun.

Aidan lives next door to us. He was outside playing with my kids when it snowed. I loved taking pictures of him because he was truly enjoying the snow falling. I saw pure joy in his face while he was watching the snow come down. He was mesmerized by it. Plus I love the hat he was wearing. :)
